Net Calories
Hi everyone. I am new to My Fitness Pal and have a question regarding the net calories. If mine says 1200, should I be consuming only 1200 calories a day? or is this what i should be consuming after I take away calories burned from exercise?

When I input my information on weight height etc, I clicked on "lose 1 lb per week". It tells me that I can eat 1200 then it comes up that I will GAIN weight. So I would like a little input on this if anyone else has the same information. Thanks
