Slowly but Surely
I am dropping a pound a week and I am losing a 1/4 inch off my hips each week. My frustration, though, is that I'm not losing anything from my waist or my bust line. :grumble: Any suggestions on how to get the tape measure to "move"? I've started doing crunches and I'm using 3 pound weights when I do my power mile…

I have been here for.................

I didn't officially start logging my food or exercising or watching what I eat until January 1, 2009, so as of today I have been on this…

Holy Smokes!
I was walking around in this pair of sweatpants that I have had since my last pregnancy. I never tied them before, but they were annoying me this morning--they kept sliding down. I was thinking, "What is wrong with these pants? The elastic must be going or something." Then I realized, MY PANTS ARE FALLING OFF ME! Holy…

A little premature but...
I'm 1/2 pound away from my goal! Yeah! I'm very proud of myself for sticking with it...usually I give up after a couple of weeks. Only problem is that now that I'm here, I feel like I need to lose more. But at the same time I'm afraid if I lose too much more I'll have a really hard time maintaining it. I'm celebrating what…

4.5 pounds lost .. yipee
Hi everyone, Last Monday when I weighed in I hadn't lost a thing despite doing 2 workouts a day and eating 1,400 calories a day. I was freaked out to say the least. I decided last week to keep the exercise up but bump my calories up to 1,700 -1,800 a day. I even ate a hamburger mid week last week. I weighed in today and…

Yes!!!
I went to New Orleans last week for Spring Break and only managed to gain 1/2 pound while I was there, which considering that I ate and drank quite a bit was quite an accomplishment. The best part of it all is that the 1/2 pound is gone already. Just goes to show that you can go on vacation and still have a good…
