Welcome to a new week. I made it to the gym yesterday. It was nice to get my HR back up. We have some warm weather this week, so I plan on getting some bike rides in. Today is rain, so yoga and walking. Next week, with day light savings starting, I'll be able to bike to Monday yoga. I need to take my CPR certification…

Help with calories burned
I hope someone can help me out here. I just did a 20 minute program on my elliptical machine and it says I burned 377 calories. MFP says I would of burned 285 and my HRM watch has me at 117. Any ideas on what I should log. When I use my treadmill, the calorie counter on it and my watch are within 10 of each other.

Indoor Rock Climbing
I went indoor rock climbing today for the first time. OMG so much fun. I went with my husband, and we had so so much fun. The only downfall was the 40 lbs difference between us when he was climbing and I was belaying (releasing the rope so he would come down) I often would lose my footing which always made for a less than…

Running
Does anyone know how many calories running burns. I read that if you run 3-4 mph you take your weight x .75. Is this accurate? Also if you run like this on an olyptical your strides aren't as long, so running the same speed you are taking more strides, wouldn't you burn more.

I have been training for the past 2 months for an 8k run. Everything was going great and I am excited about the race. Then my ankle started giving me problems. Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds 'Ultimate Collection"
I just picked up this DVD from Target and did the '1 Mile Get Up & Get Started'. It was challenging with the weights, but very doable. Am I supposed to keep going and do the 2 mile right afterwards, or build up to it by repeating the first one a lot? I'm confused, lol. Also, how on earth do you log this in your exercise…

Has anyone figured out the calorie burn for an hour of Zumba? The Zumba people talk about such a wide range depending on your health, age and how long you've been doing it, that I haven't found it useful.

I always get sucked into watching infomercials and was wondering if anyone was having any luck with anything advertised out there.
