C25K other exercise?
When you are doing the C25K program, do you do exercise (other) on the same day as well? What type of exercise do you do on your rest day ? Any advice? Thank you! Dottie

weight scale
Any one recommend a scale that tracks body fat and weight. maybe if i see my body fat is decreasing i wont get discouraged so easily.

Trampoline how many calories HELP!
Anyone have any idea of how many calories are burned jumpin on a trampoline. I can't find that info on the site to enter into my exercise journal. If there is a way to figure this or a place that can tell me please help?!!!!

cardio after a fast - how soon do I need to eat?
I'm sure this has been asked before - but I wasn't able to find my answer! I currently do between 35 and 45 minutes of aerobic exercise first thing in the morning. so how sore does doing the 30 day shred make you? I havent started it yet but I went to the gym on tuesday and lifted and I am still sore! And i dont want to do the 30 day shred and then be to sore to work out all week!

My hubby is buying me a new HRM because my old one broke after almost 4 year together =( So I was looking at Polar and I really like the FT4, so I wanted to see if anyone had this and what the pros and cons are! Any other HRM's that you all love would be great too! Thank you!

i do 40 minute walking in the morning and 40 minutes in the after noon , would u factor this in as excerise as its a normall thing , i do it 5 days a week ?

How many extra calories burned?
Hi everyone! How many more calories do you think are burned when you take your usual walks with hand weights? I walk about a mile on my lunch breaks for 100 calories...I just started using 2 lb hand weights. How many more do you think that would be?

My DVDs came this morning...
...unfortunately AFTER I already worked out. I ordered The Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout DVD and 30 Day Shred. Both arrived today. Im going to do the LCW first - it's for 6 weeks. I popped it into the DVD player this morning and it looks really kick *kitten*! I can't wait to try it tonight! Im SO excited!

I think I bought the wrong Polar..
I just bought the Polar to help me calculate calories burned while I workout. I bought a FSC3 and I dont think it shows calories burned. It just shows me my heart rate. Is there a simple way to calculate calories burned on my own or should I take this one back and buy a more expensive one? This one was $90.00:ohwell:

D1L1 30 Day Shred!!

treadmill calories
So i just got back from the gym. I was on the treadmill for 30 minutes going at a speed of 4 mph and at a grade of 7%. The calorie counter said that i burned 812 calories!!! That seems like an awful lot. but I did feel that my heart rate was up for the whole workout. Im afraid to put this many calories burned for the day…

I did CrossFit when I was in Oahu; Now I'm attending here in Maryland. Today's work out was Fight Gone Bad....first work out in over a 1 1/2 years.....Max Reps X3 rounds.....over all score 133.....I didn't quit....so I count it as a success. Do more Suck Less
