proper amount of water
Not sure if this has been covered here or not, but I'll say so anyway. to get the proper amount of water take your weight and divide by 2 and that is how many ounces of water that you should be drinking. That was found in a fitness mag article written by a doctor... not sure what the mag was. But it does sound about right.…

idea! and question.
I just totally thought of an idea! Currently I have my calories set at 1200. Problem with that by lunch time I have come really close to going over with only 20 calories to go (such as the case today) and then when dinner comes obviously will put me way over. Lately, now that I am back tracking again dinner comes around…

hydroxy cut
I have recently went from 149 to 137 or 136 depends on what i eat. My goal is 130 or 125. I have just recently started taking hydroxy cut and I lost 2 lbs so happy. Over thanks giving I gained two and then lost two. Just asking what people think about hydroxy cut.

saunas at the gym
I have never really sat in one but would like to know what they are for. I have one at our gym. I am interested to know more. Are they for relaxing or weight loss? Also, can you sit in your (underwear) in a sauna or do you have to bare it all? What's the etiquette?

I did it! I did it! I did it!
I for the very first time ever ran on the treadmill, at the gym, in front of people. I walked at 3.0 for 2 mins and then ran at 5.0 for 30 seconds at a 3% incline for 30 mins. It felt so good. A major accomplishment for me.

Your favorite running watch?
So I am ready for a watch that will track my workouts - most importantly my speed while running. Any recommendations? Is the Garmin the best? Are there any deals to be found? My husband bought me a Timex "Fitness Tracker" but I don't know how accurate it is. Any ideas? Thanks :wink: Bunny
