Does anyone have any good solutions for shin splints?
I get shin splints every time I walk/run on a flat surface, such as a treadmill or outside. I don't mean normal walking, I mean exercise obviously. K so I had my son 18 months ago and I still got this flabby old belly. What are the best belly exercises. I hate ab workouts!!!
I don't know if it's just me, but everytime I do an ab workout I feel like I'm gonna hurl - especially when doing the ISO bike move fast for 30 sec straight! Maybe it's just cause I've had 2 kids and my abs are extremley weak - but my abdomins feel like they are being ripped apart!!

HRM question
I know theres been a lot of talk here about HRM's so I'm hoping someone will know the answer to this. I worked out for 35 minutes with my heart rate "in zone" (in my target heart rate zone) and my HRM says I burned 295 calories. Is this the correct amount I can log here on MFP or are some of these calories already…

I was originally planing on buying myself a Pedometer, the Omron HJ-112 but I've seen some great posts on heart rate monitors and so now I'm a little confused. Which is most convenient? and which is most accurate for calories burnt count? What do you think?

Hi! I'm new around here! I was just wondering if anybody has a Wii Fit and how they like it. I have one and I try to use it at least 4 times a week. I love to do step aerobics and hula hoop! My kids also love the Wii fit :ohwell: Every time I get it out they are bugging me to use it!

fitness tip to get some calorie burning in the day
Don't sit and watch the microwave to finish. Do some squats while your standing there. Same goes for when your cooking. Doing little thing like that will burn calories and ad up :happy:
