question for runners
this may not be a running problem but .....I just started jogging on the treadmill. I can't do much yet so i alternate with walking. I have gotten blisters on the bottom of my toes-just on my left foot. Anybody else experience this? I'm not sure if it could be my shoes or socks? i'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks!!

Your fave workout dvds
I have 3 little boys so getting out to a gym is hard... if not impossible :laugh: I need some suggestions on workout dvds so I can do my excercise at home! What are your faves? Which ones work the best for weight loss and scultpting/toning??? Which ones do you hate?

exercise question. help please!
i usually do my exercise in the morning, but i'm wondering whether it is better to eat breakfast BEFORE i work out, or wait until after. does anyone know the answer to the question, or know where i might be able to find some suggestions? thanks!

Spinning Calories
I have a question: When I enter my information for spinning and the vigorous effort that I put forth, it says that I burnt between 500-600 calories. My husband got me one of those heart rate monitors and it says that in 60 minutes of vigorous spinning, I burnt about 300 calories. I don't see how I could have only burnt 300…

289 - 250 - 169 -- I have no idea how many calories I burned
Sheesh!!! 25 minutes on the elliptical. Crossramps at 11 or 12, resistance at 6. I think I did about 2 miles. The exercise calculator here reads 289 calories. The Precor elliptical read 250 calories. Where does it go
I tried putting my strength training under cardiovascular and it default to strength training but i don't get any caloric count for those exercises. I only got credit for the elliptical/cardiovascular exercise.

How do you account for certain activities?
There are alot of things I can't find on the cardio and strength lists. Maybe I'm being too specific and need to break it down more?
