So I have my ten last pesky pounds to lose and, like many, it seems impossible to lose. My gym has a personal trainer that I am going to use so I can, hopefully, lose those ten pounds. Today is weights and spinning. I'm starting to feel like a real weights person. There are still some machines that remain a mystery. . .but I find I can now makeup a full body work-out as I go along with some variations. . . Also, I'm having my "treat night" tonight. Water, vits, etc. Happy workouts!:flowerforyou:

I know there are many of you out there doing this challenge. I have a question. I CANT do one REAL push-up but I can do about 15-20 modified ones... How do I start? Should I continue with my modified ones or should I try to reach 100 modified and then if I can move into unmodified push-ups?

10 reasons you're not losing weight!
I don't know if I agree 100% with all of them, but I found the article interesting. Enjoy! Roadblock No. 1: Always a go-getter, you work out at 6 a.m. What's wrong with that? Morning workouts are great—if you go to bed at 10 p.m. In a recent study in the American Journal of Epidemiology, women who slept seven or…

I was kind of suprised to see that when I added strength training that it didn't show how many calories were burned. I guess I assumed that a person burned some extra calories while lifting weights???
