How long do you workout for daily? How many calories do you burn? I just see alot of people saying they burn around 500 calories per workout. What are you doing to burn that much and for how long? Today at the gym I did the treadmill for 30 minutes at 3.5mph at an incline of 4-6. I only burned 220 calories?????? Should I…

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what time of day is best for your workout?? I've always done it by afternoon, but am thinking it would be much easier to work out once my son goes to bed at night. Ok so I did my walk tonight at the gym. I walked at 3.5 for 35 minutes. So MFP says I burned 249 calories, but the treadmill at the gym said 214. Which do I go by?

Polar heart Rate Monitors
I have a Polar F6- all the info on it is current.
