I just took my very first spin class this morning. OH MY GOODNESS....I wanted to die. I pushed my way through it but I thought my legs were going to fall off my body:tongue: I made it through it though. Don't know if I'll take another class but at least I've tried it. Yay me!!!:happy:

Biking to and from work in Miami
Hi, I've been biking to and from work and while it's really hot here lately, I've been burning about 900 calories each day. If I ride one way I burn half and then I go to the gym or something. I'm trying to work on eating better, but it's hard when there are so many yummy things to eat. I'm not seeing the weight come off…

Hey I was just wondering... I work at a video store and I stand throughout my shift (6-8hrs) but within those hours I walk around doing various tasks for about 1-2 hours, should I include that in my "workouts" as walking (2.0mph for example) or is that the type of thing that is included automatically when you join?! skin issues
Not trying to be gross, however. . .I walk 2-3 miles every morning. I have the most awful heat rash/chafing in the breast area. I know others have had this. . .what do you use to fix it and gold bond powder does not work.

Question about eating exercise calories
If you eat all of your earned exercise calories, doesn't that just make you break even? Should you eat ALL of them?

For those who have ran a 5K....
How did you train for your 5K? I am thinking about registering for one next month. How long and how did you train for it? This weekend I had no problem running 2.5 miles and I think I would be able to handle a 5K. I kinda want to do it just to see how I do. Any advice?

Treadmill calories vs MFP calories
I just walked/ran on the treadmill and when I put it in MFP it said that I burned 253 calories and when I was done on the treadmill it said that I burned over 500. I know that MFP doesn't account for walking/running on an incline, but woul doing my exercise on a 4.0 incline make that much of a difference? I'm unsure what…

I have a very hard time breathing when I am running. My body isn't tired but I can't breath after about two minutes. :ohwell: I don't have any breathing problems (like ashma) but I think after not running for two years, I forgot how to breath. :laugh: Any suggestions on how to breath when running?
