confused please help
hi everyone, it's been a while since my last post. i wanted to know i usually do about 45 min of high impact aerobics, after which i'm drenched with sweat. today because i'm not feeling well i burned the same amount of calories doing a less strenuous workout on the treadmill. did i get the same benefit or not? confused

Is it cardio or weight training?
I have some Jillian Michaels DVD's and I have been logging it as Cardio, but she also does it with weights with part of it. Am I logging it currectly?:noway: The one I just did was the "The Biggest Winner" Disk 1-Full frontal They are a great work out for such a short time.

How much did I burn? How do I know?
I am reading other's posts and seeing that alot of people are burning 400, 500 calories by exercise. I spent 30 minutes on my treadmill yesterday. 20 minutes was at a brisk pace, 5 minutes at a jog and another 5 minutes at a leisurely pace (trying to catch my breath) but only burned 165 calories. trying to work out abs
I have tried so many different types of exercises to tone my abs, so far the only thing that actually made me sore was simply lifting my legs off of the floor together and then lowering then but not letting them touch the floor. It works!!
