Choosing cereal
I haven't eaten cereal in a couple of years because I was lactose intolerant for awhile. Before that I didn't care about eating healthy. I am wanting to try cereal now because I'm getting bored with breakfast. What's a good healthy cereal that tastes good without having to add sugar or something? Thanks for your help!…

Question about calories
For some reason today I am way under my calorie count (like 700 calories under). Trust me this isn't usually the case but I don't feel hungry right now. I try to cut off my eating at 7pm which is ten minutes away. Should I go ahead and eat even though I'm not hungry to bring up my count???

Limiting sugar
Hi! I have only been on here for about a week, but in that time I have noticed that I eat much more sugar than my limit, even though I am avoiding unhealthy sweets. This seems strange, because a glass of milk is half the limit in itself, and fruit seems to have a lot of sugar as well. Does anyone else watch the sugar…

December - love it or hate it
I know I'm not the only one... This is my absolute favorite time of year. However, it's also one of my most difficult times of the year. I have a insaciable love of grazing over the holiday food table - specifically, the dessert area. I have attended 5 holiday parties so far and have 3 more to go this month. For example, I…

calories in and calories out
Hi: I have some ideas for being successful. I think that anyone that is worried about the number of cals they eat should gradually reduce them instead of going cold turkey. I know that is what will work for me. I put a cap off 1,800. I have been hitting around 1500 and I think it is because I let myself have a little…

Trigger foods
Welp here is my theory on cheating. I think that it is necessary, in moderation, to keep you on track, as long as you stay away from certain things and do it in small amounts. My sister read about something called "trigger foods" and it said that we all have a certain food that causes us to crave the bad things that we…

The Annual Work Christmas Party
Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle the annual Christmas party? I believe I had around 6 desserts and small portions of about 20 dinner dishes. The "enter a new food item" section didn't like my "around 5000" calories entry. So, do I give up, don't enter it, and spend 5 hours or so on the treadmill? Or should I put…

I can't believe I am over 2,000 mg's beyond my requirement.....my God...it's as if I drank out of a salk shaker for five minutes. I guess my canned chili was the biggest culprit today. Guess tomorrow it's an all-fruit diet....no chance of that since I'm going to the Chief's game.
