How much weight did you lose in the first month?
I started my weight loss journey 11 days ago, and I've lost 9 lbs since then. I'm 5'6" and I started at 222 lbs. I would be so happy if I could lose 9 more pounds this month.

I have been consuming 4 cups of vegetables with no salt or butter. 2 4oz chicken breast BBQed with barely any salt on them and 160 calorie protein shake with 30 grams of protein. Am I not eating enough?
Hi all, I've got 40lbs to lose, MFP suggests 1300 cals a day but I find I usually have around 1100 does this mean I will lose weight quicker or will it have an adverse effect if I don't eat the full amount?

Retroactive Fitbit Data Sync with MFP
Hi- Currently I sync my FitBit One data 2-3 times per day. I would like to reliably reduce my sync schedule to 2-3 days. Trying to loose 60 pounds
i lost 32 pounds last year and set a 3 year goal to loose 30 - 35 pounds a year for 3 consecutive years. I am planning on having foot surgery in about 2 months. Any ideas for eating healthy and loosing weight fast before surgery takes place? Thanks

Counting calories? over 60 (the new 40).... This is my first day (again). 64 yrs old and 203 lbs.
I have been reading about giving up (or cutting down) on sugar. I am a sugaraholic.. Mentally, sugar feeds my stress. Today I was appalled that I weighed 203 pounds... I am thinking just journaling and counting calories (1200 max) is the best way to go.. I need some advice from the older crowd and how they made it happen...
