Snoring and weight loss?
Has anyone successfully stopped snoring after weight loss? I just got my results back from my sleep study and I snore terribly all night, but wasn't diagnosed with sleep apnea. I'm hoping weight loss will help. I've tried everything else to stop snoring without a sleep apnea diagnosis though I don't qualify for any of the…

Living with ADHD
Hello one and all I was searching here for some support with ADHD and could not find many active groups. That led me to start one of my own, my vision is to see the group grow into a place for people who directly have ADD/ADHD or have a family member with it; come to share support, and information they have. I posted a…

Salicylates? ADHD?
My GP gave me this very old list of foods to avoid in trying to calm down ADHD/Anxiety symptoms. (I know it's very old because the letterhead is from his other practice 10 years ago) Anyway, I do trust his methods, I just haven't been to him in years and have ignored my mental health. Now it's begun tampering with all…

Sleep
How do you make sure you get enough sleep for you? Honestly, sleeping 8 hours (and making that really high quality sleep) is necessary for losing weight for me. I think some of my past attempts were thwarted when I tried to sacrifice sleep for workouts, or when I went to bed late after staying up meal prepping, etc. Now…

Just wanted to see if there are any other people out there suffering from PTSD. I was diagnosed last year, and while I have made great strides in my recovery since then, it still sometimes feels like an uphill battle. I would love to make friends with others that know what this disorder is like, so feel free to add me!

Anyone else here dealing with PTSD?
Hi everyone, so I'm really still near the beginning of my weight loss journey. My starting (max) weight was about 160-162 lb, I'm now fluctuating between 156-157, and my initial goal is 140 lb (after that, I hope to go down to 125-130, but I'll re-assess when I get to 140). My problem is that I'm suffering from PTSD, and…

Massage and Toxins
Hey! Is it true that when you get a massage toxins come out and whatnot? Especially told, drink tons of water to flush it all out! I've heard this a bunch, but I feel it is helpful for the muscles after lots of working out to have some massage therapy.. What are your thoughts??

I did a in-home sleep study last night and felt I slept horribly. Hopefully I can still…

Do any of y'all have ADHD? Do you have access to stimulants to treat it? If so, how have they affected or not affected your weight loss journey? For me, it's a blessing and a curse to take my meds. PTSD
I have PTSD from childhood abuse. It took me a long time to see its effect on my physical health. I've had a bad weekend and indulged in comfort food. But I'm getting back on track tomorrow. If you suffer from the effects of PTSD, whatever the cause, let's support each other. It's not easy but we are capable if we set our…

Hello everyone. Every now and again you come across articles about the necessity of sleep for weight loss and while my scale is going in the correct direction it did get me wondering if I would have better success if I was getting more sleep. As recently as July, I had lost 35 pounds and while I still have weight to lose, I had kept that 35 pounds off for over a year. I began using a CPAP machine about 10 weeks ago. Insomnia
Does anyone have any good ways to fight insomnia? I go to sleep for two hours then wake up for two hours then sleep two more hours. It's taking it's toll on my physical health.
