Wooohoooo!
I am so excited. I am 5 pounds away from my first mini goal of 245. I have lost 19 pounds and feeling great. I don't post on here very much because I mostly post on my Alli website (I still use this sight for logging all my food) but I was so excited I had to share. I went to buy new jeans last night and I dropped a size!…

Progress is beginning to show
I have lost enough weight that my co-workers and family are beginning to notice and comment. Dropped from a 3x to a 1x. Right now I am on a plateau and would love some suggestions as to how to jump right over it. I have begun to increase my exercise in hopes that may help some. Ideas?

Semi-Success...and new goal.
Based on a visit to a physical therapy center and having a "body pod test" done I found that the goal weight for my body size and density is 147. Really? Ugh. I weighed that much in my early 20s, but I didn't do it in a healthy manor. Can I even reach that again without killing myself with diet and exercise? I knew that…

Exercise benefits carry into the next day.
I weigh at least once a day. I have noticed that the day after I exercise, even if I eat all my exercise calories, the scale drops a pound. The day after that it drops a bit more. My scale measures tenths of a pound. It used to only take 20 minutes of exercise, but now it takes 40 minutes. The problem I had was that it…

How to you reward yourself?
I am currently 274 (started at 275 though) and trying to think of some goals/rewards for myself as I work towards my 200 pound goal. For dropping my first 10 (well it's a little over 10 since I weigh in kilos, not pounds, but anyway) I want to reward myself with the Zumba workout DVD package. I figure that will send…

Yay for great weigh-ins! I'm finally off of my 3 week plateau. At least I wasn't gaining weight back, but not budging really got me down. I kicked it in high gear this week and dropped 2.8lbs bringing me to a total of exactly 24lbs lost since I started in October! It's a slow process but I'm excited to be almost a 1/4th of…

Why Weight Plateaus Don't Matter
Looking at my weight over the past year, it looks like I haven't done much. This time last year I was at 133.2. Last month I got down to 130.2, and after increasing my carbohydrates by 5% and celebrating my b-day Tuesday, I'm up to 132.2, but that will drop back down in time. Over the summer I peaked at 139.2. So you could…

Kid's say the darndest things!
I had lunch duty today (I'm a teacher). I notice a table of 4th graders pointing and whispering. Every time I looked their way; they would straighten up and look away. After several minutes of this I decided I had better see who they were picking on. When I asked them what they were doing, two girls blushed and replied…

Why do I enjoy the sick feeling after I binge???
When I was young, I remember my family members getting up after a good meal, and complaining about how sick they felt. I thought it was so stupid, and I wondered why a person would take something so wonderful and make it cause pain for themselves?I'm down 18 lbs but have gotten stuck there. I don't know if it is…
