4 month body transformation
Hi all, I am Marcos, from Spain (I live in Frankfurt, Germany). This is my first post here. 4 months ago I started this journey. I started to log EVERYTHING I eat here. I started to exercise. I am a 173cm tall, 34 year old (35 on July 9th) male who had been too lazy and soft for too long. On the 17th of December, 2023, I…

Still have some way to go
Started in early January 2024. I was 146kg (322 pound) Today I am 106kg (233 pounds) I have kept to a low calorie diet (mostly). About 1300 cal a day I was unable to walk 50 feet without stopping due to weight and asthma/copd. I can now walk over 5 miles a day. Have also joined a local gym, I can only use the rowing…

I lost 70 pounds
I used to weigh 125 pounds in my 30’s , fast forward 2 divorces, 2 children, work stress, ex husband stress dealing, was eating middle of night a lot, couldn’t stop, thought stories of people saying lost 60 - 70 pounds was bogus. My decision: started with a $14 course on line hypnosis for weight loss, thought it did not…

myfitnesspal and a1c
I enrolled in a Diabetes Prevention Program in July 2023 due to my pre-diabetic a1c level. I chose myfitnesspal to track my food for the program. In 6 months, my a1c level is no longer pre-diabetic and I lost 30 lbs. I continue to track all food and will continue for the foreseeable future.

Over 60 Women losing weight
I am one of those women over 60 and I am losing weight again. I don't feel over 60 and I sure hope I don't look either. LOL! But I do know that being this age and working on getting fit is a lot harder than when I was 30. So I just make each day and do the best I can. My daughters have both a big help. Thank you…

Record for Signing In??????
Way back in December 2012, our youngest son had a major surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. On the way home he commented that he would like to see both my wife and me live a lot longer by losing some weight and for my wife to quit smoking (She did a year ago in March). He gave me the link to myfitnesspal and suggested I try…

Logged 1000 days for the win!
I just reached 1000 days of logging my food on MFP. Down 70 pounds, or 28% of my starting body weight. That is Absolutely Surreal. I hesitate to make a post at all, much less a very, very long one. However, I have had life-changing success, and success stories on My Fitness Pal really, really, helped me, so here goes.…

First NSV post
My first NSV since downloading Myfitnesspal and actually logging my meals and exercise the last few days is that I noticed when I looked in the mirror my back fat looked less prominent and my skin had an over all glow! I also noticed I looked less bloated even if I neccessarily wasn’t feeling it or thought I was, and it…

Lost 4 lbs in 1 week!
I would just like to share my routine on how I lost 4 lbs. I was really surprised when I weighed in yesterday, I was only expecting like 2 lbs something. I just followed my calorie counting (1380 cal/day) usually I would only have 1,000-1,200/day. I added GNC Total Lean 25 shake, their Pre-diet cleanse for 2 days and…

I’m struggling with weight loss
I’m a teen (f) who weights 155 lbs at 5’2. I’ve been working out for 17 days so far and all I’ve seen is more muscle. I decided to start restricting calories to see if it changes everything. Can I please have some advice to help me? Edit- just realized I’m on the wrong board.

5’3” 175 to 132 success!
I’m 36 years old and a Mom of 3. I didn’t really lose much weight until I committed about January 2023 (roughly 14 months ago). I’ve been under 145 for roughly 8 months and been focusing on strength training recently since Jan 2024 to try to lose fat while gaining muscle. I’m currently at 132lbs at 5’3”. The gym machine…

Off the Meds! (inc lots of pics)
Today is Day 1!!! On June 7th 2013, I was rushed to Emergency with stroke like symptoms. My whole right side of my body unresponsive.. I agreed was a little "fat" but I was only 38, way too young for a stroke! After MRI's and Blood tests and Physio and I dunno how many other people stopping in to get a poke at me.. Being…

Daily checking in.
I recently saw a post on daily accountability and this resonated with me. I think this is what I need but where and how!? Could MFP be the answer? I have unsuccessfully tried Noom, WW and for the last 4 months a personal coach to lose the weight. Instead I have steadily increased my weight by 2 kg!! I am a mother/…

A whole year tracking!
I started tracking 366 days ago, a whole year including Leap Day. I started at 85.5 kg (188.1 lb) with an initial goal of 70 kg (154 lb). After reaching it I realised my scale was inaccurate and I was actually 5 kg (11 lb) heavier! Started again and lost that, but my body fat percentage was still 40% = for reference I'm a…
