Anyone else doing this? I'm starting week 2 today (hopefully, got my ingrown toenail fixed AGAIN but hopefully for good this time this morning). I don't know if I've lost weight yet because I don't own a scale (I get far too caught up in it so I don't have one.) But I've been walking on the days I don't run.

muscles hurt so bad
So I played flag football for 2 hours on sunday. First time I have actually played a sport and ran for about 3-4 years. My muscles are still extremely sore 3 days later. Is it okay to go ahead and workout when they are hurting? What are my muscles doing when they are tight and hurting anyways?

cardio at home?!
thats the snow started in scotland today :( , icy grounds! so im looking of ways to get the same benefit of jogging or running at home. I dont have a car and the nearest non member gym is about a 40 minute walk away (across icy pavements!) anyone got any ideas for cardio/ fat burning at home?! thanks

Excess weight and exercise impact/pain

Is my theory wrong?
I've heard if I lose weight I not only lose fat but muscle. So I've started lifting weights plus doing cardio. My theory is that if I have more muscle I burn more calories and thus get fit and lose weight. Where am I wrong?
