Ok.. so this is my first post on MFP. I have a question.. Im starting the "30 Day Shred" thing and I wanted to know how to count calories burned if I dont have an HRM (at the moment).. pleasee pleasee let me know. Thanks! =)

Eating Exercise Calories next day?
Do you have to eat your exercise calories in the same day for it to be effective? I exercised yesterday afternoon, but was under my calorie goal for the day. Was busy and didn't have a chance to eat much. Is it such a far stretch to just eat the calories today?

I was wondering if anyone owns and uses S12 Heart Rate Monitor? I would like a pedometer with gps and calorie calculator (like the Navman's Sport.Tool W300 ,but it seems to have been discontinued). However, I am considering the S12 Heart Rate Monitor, simply because of the features & low price. Anyone have any thoughts?

Does strength training burn calories?
Unless I am missing a step on MFP, when I enter my strength training exercises, it doesn't list any calories burned? The only calories MFP seems to account for are from my cardio. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Trail walking/walking in open space reserve
My husband and I are taking the dog on a walk through an open space reserve....so it is essentially trail walking moderate uphill, downhill and flat......its not hiking and it is not flat walking either.....what would I put this under?

Every time I go running, my shin bones hurt. Its gets to the point to where I cant run for very long! any ideas what it could be? I drink at least 8 8oz of water a day. and I haven't had anything but water all week. I want to run but it kind of scares me. They shouldn't hurt or anything.
