I Only Eat Food I Like
I have fruit smoothies daily. This is quite variable as there are so many fruits and then fruit combos to choose from. I make my own veggie filled beans and wild rice blends. Delicious. I cook up chicken thighs, and other meat when it is on sale. I make stews, and pastas, and roasts and all my food is generally really…

Does it matter what your calories are?
Both hubby and I are using MFP - he has 1500 cals generally against my 1200. We both eat the same kind of calories for meals but he is picking in the evening!! So frustrating as I have none left!! Anyway, he claims that he can eat 'rubbish' as well as the healthy food to reach the 1500. I say he should be eating healthy…

Milk?
Looking for opinions here =) Just how "Good for you" would you guys consider milk to be, and when you're aiming for either weight loss , or a long term change in your diet, do you include milk? I used to think skim milk was the way to go, but then I've recently heard a few things advocating raw whole milk as almost a…

Too much fat?
I try to eat relatively low carb (under 100 per day) and eat more protein. Inadvertently I end up eating about 40 - 50% of my diet as fat. I know there are good fats and bad fats, and that fat doesn't make you fat...I'm just worried...is this unhealthy for me in other ways?

FRUIT FOR WEIGHT LOSS
I am thinking about eating a 1,200 calorie per day/low carb/20 grams of fat diet. I try to workout at least 40 minutes a day/5 days a week. I have PCOS and any carbs put weight on me JUST LIKE THAT and even though fruit is full of sugar, does it count as "bad" sugar as far as carbs go? My main question is, Can I eat all…

Is "Naked" juice a good choice?
Before I started on my weight loss journey, I fell in love with Naked juice. I've been incorporating it into my diet, but it's a whole lot of calories for a drink. I know it has the juice of lots of different fruits/veggies, but is it really a good choice? I've taken a break from it the last couple of days, but I have…

Earned calories from exercise
I have a 1290 calorie daily allowance. I find it hard to get that many calories in because I get so worried about going over, so I always end up under… and I am usually pretty hungry all day. Anyway, when I exercise it says that I earn, for instance, 300 extra calories for the day. Is this true? Can I really eat 300 extra…

You Can Go To The Melting Pot!
I recently saw that The Melting Pot has release a "skinny-dipping" food menu along with "skinny" drinks. The 3 course meal adds up to about 700 calories (not including skinny drinks), which is probably a splurge for a lot of people for one meal. I still think it is exciting that you wouldn't have to sit around and guess…

Can you eat too much protein in one day?
I realized that the last couple of days I've exceeded my protein intake. Sources are healthy - regular size portion of chicken, milk and beans - but I don't want to overdo it if it isn't good for me or my diet! I'm staying in range on calories and fat. Any insights appreciated. Thanks!
