use of fit bit
I recently bought a fitbit to help track my daily expenditure. An average day with approx. 45 minutes of exercise (walking or Cto5K) it says I burn 2,000 calories. Does this sound about right? I've been keeping my calories around 1200 which should get me a decent deficit...am I doing this right? How do you use your fit bit?

How often do you weigh in?
As of now I plan on doing a weekly weigh in and monthly taping. I sometimes get anxious and weigh in early and (like today) when the weight is a little bit higher I get so discouraged! (don't worry I am behaving) But I was just curious as what other people do so I can try that :)

Hi all, My calorie intake is 1270. My question is if wanting as a goal 2" smaller waist and hip, ten pounds in a month are these realistic goals? That is my optimal, for progress I would be ok with 1" and five pound loss in four weeks.
