Hey All!!! I have a question...I go to a free local gym and the equipment is older....I don't know if that even matters to my question or not but here it is...I spent 15 minutes on the treadmill at 4 mph...the machine says I burned 85 calories but the database on here says closer to 200....same with the bicycling…

I've seen other posts where people have said to log the 30-Day Shred as circuit training, but when I tried that it said that I burned 246 calories. Pushing the Car out of ice
My car got stuck in the ice today and me and 4 other people had to push it out. It took about 20 minutes of pushing and sliding in the snow. How many calories do this that burns or what would you label that as? I'm just wondering because my arms were pretty sore after that and it must have burned some calories.

Ok I am hearing so much about strength training and weights. I do like weights and believe in them 100%, however, what exactly is strength training? I do the machines that target different parts of the body in the gym. And how many times a week should I be doing weights with my cardio?

Heart Rate Monitors
