How much cardio is too much?
Just a general question as I've been told different things. How much cardio a day is too much? I've been told that you have to do at least 40 mins to lose and then I've been told anything over 20 mins is gravy. I normally try to do at least 30 mins on the elliptical with a 5 minute cool down. 30 day shred
30 day shred is shredding my knees! Is there anything I can do to continue doing it without further damage to knees. I already used a mirror to make sure my form for squats and lunges were correct.

Okay- I want to buy a good HRM..nothing cheap, something that will last a while..something reliable. Thought about one thats waterproof you can wear in the pool for water aerobics or swimming. Any ideas?

Logging Calories but hang on...
My BMR is 1500. That's about 62 an hour. So if I wear my HRM and burn 500 in an hour's session I actually only burn an extra 438. Should we be knocking the normal hourly burn off the amount we log? The maths of everything is starting to make my head spin but it's just a thought. Sorry if this has been posted about before.

I just wrote out the 30 day Slimdown Program by JM & realized that she doesn't incorporate 30DS level 3 into it at all. She only incorporates (from the 30DS DVD) levels 1 & 2. For months now I have been having problems with my heart rate monitor. Yesterday it said my heart rate was 00 Until 30 mins in. It has been having a hard time detecting my HR. Has any one had trouble with a polar HRM or any HRM. If so what did you do?
