Hey  I've just finished my workout and have had some problems with my HRM. In the middle of my workout it stayed around 50-80bpm, which wasnt correct as I checked my pulse and it was going really fast! Hey all, I recently bought that RC workout tower, and was looking for people's opinions on it. I'm still in the process of losing weight, but would like to start adding in resistence training and get my flabby parts to be not so flabby. It just arrived, but I haven't set it up yet. Thanks!

What size weights?
I'm pretty new to the whole strength training deal but I really want to start lifting weights to tone my arms. What size should I start with? I can do 10 reps with a 10 lb dumbbell fairly easily and I'm thinking about starting with that for bicep curls but I've heard it's better to use smaller weights for other exercises…

"That's why they don't use vacuum cleaners in gym class"
I stole (and paraphrased) this from an earlier response to another one of the "does this (activity) count threads. I posted this a couple of weeks ago, but it bears repeating (with some additional info). Of the many ways that people trying to lose weight lie to themselves, estimating "activity" calories is almost certainly…

Of course everyone is different, and we burn calories differently, but the average Joe should expect this number to be an average burn. This is a fantastic lower body blast!.
