This message goes out to anyone who has any experience with this program. I'm thinking about starting P90x, but the program seems pretty intimidating. There seems like there is so much to it. Gazelle as Cardio??
Hi all! So I've been searching through old posts about the gazelle glider but still can't find the answer to my question... Does the gazelle really count as cardio and does it burn as many calories as the counter on it says? I'm 125 pounds and I see on most calorie counting websites that the calories burned are assuming…

C25K questions
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on NON-runners becoming runners...I ran a mile, (jogged is more accurate!), 3-4 days a week for about 3 years *back in high school for cheerleading. I was never good at it and I always struggled to catch my breath. However, I began cycling this spring and I am now interested in…

What "counts" as exercise?
Hi lovely MFP-ers... Just looking for a few opinions: The last few weeks I have been cleaning out a storage room at work- moving around boxes, taking out trash, etc. In total, I probably have been putting in about 2, possibly 3, hours of this a day. I haven't been entering this in the exercise diary because I don't think…

I need some advice/tips on how to work on building my stamina. Quick background on myself: I've always been overweight, but I was also super athletic, playing basketball & volleyball. SBF2: Reboot Boogaloo! July 22
Hi pebbles, Mopey today. I'm bigger (although I don't feel fatter) in my legs officially and think I need new jeans. It's the peril of muscle mass and really being dedicated to yoga. It's very, very hard to not think bigger=failure. I hate jeans shopping as much as bathing suit shopping (due to the fact that my waist is…

Hi guys, I've had some knee pain for a little bit while training for the marathon but it's been bearable. I felt really good after my longest run on Saturday which was 12 miles. Your gym routine...
I usually walk on the treadmill at about 3.5mph for 20-25 mins, then I do the elliptical for about ten mins, and then I lift weights and try to target all my muscles, but I feel like I'm not getting results. What exercises do you do at the gym? Are you seeing results??

Tummy work
(cut & pasted from a previous "buried" post): So I'm doing really well at taking every potty break opportunity to sneak into the private room off the bathroom and do some ab work (1-3 minutes a couple times an hour.)
