Amazing Salad
I had the most amazing salad last night. It's called the ensalde estefani or something like that (from Waves in St. Clair Shores for any of you metro Detroiters)....OMG, it's kind of far from me but I so want to go back for another. Though it is pretty simple to make, hopefully I can recreate it to taste the same (I have…

If you love hummus, have you tried falafel???
We love it in our house, though it's fried and I want to attempt to bake it. I've read mixed reviews on baking it. For those who aren't familiar, it's mashed chick peas and seasonings, and some sort of binder, made into little balls or patties and fried. It's often served as a wrap with lettuce and tomato and a suace made…

Salad Dressing
You may think you are being good having a salad as a meal, but salad dressing can add tons of calories, fat, sodium, and ultimately ruin your day. It is hard to find a good salad dressing that is actually low calorie without adding all kinds of unnatural ingredients. What I use on my salad is Red Wine Vinegar. It is the…

The Really Good Thing About Dieting ...
is that it forces me to think about what I eat and makes me plan what I should eat.
