Avoiding starvation mode
So let's say I need 1800 calories minimum to avoid going into starvation mode. I take in exaction 1800 caloreis but I run 3.5 miles. Is my body going to throw a fit or does all it care about is that it got it's calories for the day regardless how much I burn?

Abs diet??
Anyone tried it or know anyone who tried it? I've been looking at the book and the recipes seem pretty easy and tasty. The whole eating 6 small meals a day sounds great too. I know it worked well for my dad but I just wanted to see if anyone else had any comments about it.

Does anyone know if you subtract your dietary fiber intake from your carbs and your fat to get a true intake ? I need help
understanding my polar HRM. After doing the ownzone before exercise, it will give me, for example, a range of 126-161 for my heart rate zone. Then after 25 minutes of exercise and reaching 200 calories burned, it will change the maximum heart rate zone to 143. Why does it do this? :huh:

1200 calories a day and only 15 carbs
