Does anyone know of any good noise canceling headphones that aren't super expensive? I can't stand to hear the women at my gym talk talk talk like a group of hens the whole time I'm there. It drives me crazy. If you can hold a conversation then you're not working out hard enough. I listen to music but can still hear them…

HR - Keeping in Zone
I posted earlier that I purchased a Polar FT4. At set up it had my resting HR at 80. My HR Max at 173, then it calculated the "zone" I should stay (65%-85%.) 113-147. I notice that during work outs on my elliptical, I have a really hard time staying in that zone. I try really hard but I am always over 85%. It was usually…

Working out in heat
Does it make a difference to be working out in heated environments, making you sweat more? This could be from wearing more layers of clothes, to simply working out with a heater on. Or does it simply dehydrate you quicker with no great benefit?

Exercise?
I've just started dieting and exercising recently. I'm not as concerned about the number on the scale as I am about feeling confident in my own skin. I have a mushroom top and flabby inner thighs. If I could take care of these two areas, I would be so happy. The rest of my body doesn't bother me at all. My arms, back and…
