summer is well on it's way. my boyfriend convinced me to play in a rec league for slow-pitch softball this year. i was hesitant at first but am catching on quickly and it's SO much fun! and i've lost 6 pounds in the past few weeks since we started practicing/playing.

Just signed up for a 2.5k?
So, yeah, I just signed up for a 1.5mi run sponsored by the local newspaper. Since I'm training for a 5k it'll be a good stepping stone I suppose. The only problem is I only have about 2 weeks until the race. Eeek!

I bought shoes a 1/2 size larger...opinions??
I got shoes in January that were 9.5 and I also bought gel insoles. Lately the shoes have just been feeling restrictive--especially at the tops of my feet so tonight I decided to buy size 10. Do you think thats ok?? I am running about 1.5 miles 3x a week usually. Thanks!
