FIT TV programs - how do i define them?
I've been doing some of the FIT TV programs but i'm not totally sure how to classify them on the exercise log. does anyone do these shows? i just did cardio blast for an hour but when i picture cardio i picture ellipticals and running. this program was more squats, push ups, bicep curls, leg lifts, lunges, things like…

Couch to 5K
Has anyone done the Couch to 5K 9 week program? I just started it this week with the goal of completing a 5 mile race in August. I have never been a runner, but here goes nothing!

Strength Training...Burn any Calories??
I mean...it has to right? Doing crunches or whatever, I can work up a sweat. How come in the excercise portion for Strength it doesnt add any calories burned...Is there a way to track it? :ohwell:

Decrease in Calorie Burn
Seems like my calorie burn is decreasing even though I try to max out the routine. A few weeks ago and even last week, my calorie burn this week for the same exercise programs have began to decrease by as much as 25 to 30 calories. Is this normal?

Difference in calories on treadmill and MFP?
So I just ran 5 miles in 48:54 at the gym on the treadmill. The treadmill told me I burned 600 calories (including a one-minute cool-down walk). I put 50 minutes of running at 10 minute pace in MFP, and it says 500. I don't understand the discrepency. The treadmill didn't ask me for my weight or anything, so it must be…

walking/running with weights....
I walked/ran 65 mins today! Half of the time I had 5# dumbells in each hand. Can i log that in the exercises? I am sure that is extra calories! Maybe a little ice cream tonight?? I am so naught.:blushing:

Question: Strength training
So I have a fairly intense workout including cardio and circuit training. But when I enter my strength training on the exercise page, it doesn't calculate calories burned. Should I be upping my calories to compensate for the calroies burned with weight lifting?

I had planed to work out monday to sat but I am feeling lazy and I really need to deep clean my house you think that its okay to skip a day I would more than likely do crunches and jumping jacks or jumprope later on in the evening I just dont feel like going to the park so you guys think its okay to to skip it this time

Exercise calories???
I just looked over my goal page. I see that it lists my lifestyle as burning 2000 calories a day, but I am supposed to only eat 1200. This is a deficit of 800 calories, which should allow me to lose 2 pounds a week. That's great, but I exercised for 30 minutes today and burned off an extra 421. Should I eat those calories?…
