Low glycemic foods
I tried bran cereals today 'cause I read that lower glycemic food lasts you longer, fills you better or what ever you want to call it. It works! 4 hours later I still feel full! Does anybody have recipes for low glycemic foods? Not that the bran cereal tastes really great, but if it works, I'll eat it.

more calories..
I plan out my meals and I usually have more calories left than carbs to use for dinner and a snack. For example, I would have like 500 calories left, but only 15-25 carbs, after I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and a snack. I eat 55% of my calories from carbs, and I did want to change that to 50% over time. What foods have a…

Water--not just for bathing anymore!
We all know water is vital for life but yesterday, I heard a statistic that drove home how important it is especially when exercising, particularly during long distance events or when exercising for over an hour or more. Way over on Fiber
ok..so I'm suppose to have 14 grams of fiber..but I do 11 just for breakfast..and then what I normally eat for lunch has another 15 grams. Right now I am 17 grams over..and still have several snacks and dinner to go. So..I think going over on fiber is ok..not like carbs or fat..but just checking. Am I right? Thanks:smile:
