PTSD
I have PTSD from childhood abuse. It took me a long time to see its effect on my physical health. I've had a bad weekend and indulged in comfort food. But I'm getting back on track tomorrow. If you suffer from the effects of PTSD, whatever the cause, let's support each other. It's not easy but we are capable if we set our…

Sleep?
Hello everyone. Every now and again you come across articles about the necessity of sleep for weight loss and while my scale is going in the correct direction it did get me wondering if I would have better success if I was getting more sleep. (As a side note, this is a pipe dream for me right now, my boys are 1 and 2.5 but…

ADHD and impulsive eating.
I know there are those of you who may not believe that ADHD is a real disorder and I can respect that; sometimes I feel like it's just personality flaws. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 13 and as an adult who struggles to be "normal" I believe it is a ligitimate issue. The biggest hurdle I face with my weight loss efforts is…

Insomnia
Does anyone have any good ways to fight insomnia? I go to sleep for two hours then wake up for two hours then sleep two more hours. It's taking it's toll on my physical health. Asking for insomnia cures from people who are up at 3:00 may not be the best avenue to take for relief suggestions.

Anyone here able to drop CPAP due to weight loss?
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 4 years ago and have been using a CPAP machine every night since then. I need to schedule a follow-up sleep study. I am hoping that losing 30 lbs (roughly 15% of my initial weight) may drop my moderate apnea into the mild category where I wouldn't necessarily need CPAP. Is that too much to…
