c25k day one COMPLETE!
Hello! On the advice of some fellow MFP members I have completed my first session of C25K couch to 5k (http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml) I am quite happy to report that I am still alive. Does a heart rate monitor that you wear like a watch going to give accurate readings? I have one that I got from Walmart that you touch with your fingertips to measure your heart rate. Weight Training Log
Does anyone know if there is any point in updating the excersice logs with any weight training sessions that I do? As far as I can tell, it doesnt deduct any calories or change anything so if its just for a record/log its probably not worth me doing as I have a seperate app for that.

Exercising in the morning vs. at night!
Okay so I've heard that it's better to work out in the morning, but I've also heard that it's better to work out at night. Like if you do it one or the other you supposedly burn more calories. Which do you guys think it is?

Heart Rate too high? Max 214 during 6 mile run.
I'm training for a marathon & am trying to increase my running speed. I'm pushing it pretty far, but today my HRM (I have a Polar F-6) read a max HR of 214! I'd like to know what you all think I should do when I miss a meal or two. Today I went to the clinic thinking I'd be in and out fairly quick. No such luck. 4.5 hours later I left. WHY does this site suggest that you eat your exercise calori
Isn't that kind of defeating the purpose of the exercise? I am not exercising so I can eat more, I am trying to burn off what I have already eaten. Someone enlighten me on this please.

cardio then strength?? or vice versa??
I've read so many different perspectives on this, most of them contradicting ... I'm curious on what others are doing. I do 2 days straight cardio, and 3 days strength with 20 minutes cardio. I normally do the cardio first, because it gets my blood pumping! Thanks guys!
